Karen D’Silva is considered one of today’s most influential creatives within the photography and marketing community. She was founding partner at Spark Visual Research, a trend & research company designed to help image producers understand the marketplace and create intelligent images. Karen ran the creative department for Photonica NA, where her responsibilities included establishing creative strategy, managing image flow, implementing the creative direction, and developing the marketing program for the North American territory. Prior to Photonica, Karen also worked for Getty as their first cross-brand Art Director, and Image Bank where she built one of the first stock art direction departments. For the last 15 years, Karen has been collaborating with some of the world's top commercial and editorial photographers instinctually leading them towards tomorrow's marketplace demands and strategizing international marketing promotional campaigns to expand their businesses. Today, Karen is best known for helping photographers and small business creatives target and connect meaningfully with the right clients through developing and marketing a relevant brand.
